I believe in the power of language to transform, connect, and make the invisible visible.

Stories have the ability to challenge assumptions and sometimes even change lives—they have mine. Books, films, conversations with friends, and the stories of everyday people have shaped how I understand the world and my place within it. That's why I do this work.

Through writing, editing, and storytelling, I aim to amplify voices and bring visibility to stories that are often overlooked, especially within the disabled, Deaf, DeafBlind, and neurodivergent communities. If a story helps someone feel seen, understood, or a little less alone—or helps someone else see the world differently—then it's done its job.

With decades of experience in writing, editing, and education, I'm drawn to stories that leave a mark. The ones that linger in your mind long after you've finished reading. We all know those ones.

While my work spans topics like travel, fitness, deafness, rare disease, and education, accessibility is the thread that ties it all together. I'm passionate about exploring what it means to create a world where everyone belongs and we find beauty in our differences. I want nothing more than to share stories that help move us closer to that goal.
