has a story
Sometimes it’s the story of a middle school working together to design and build a prosthetic arm for a classmate with a limb difference. Or the story of a mother who lost all her hair to alopecia areata but used that metamorphosis to create a new life. Other times it’s your own story of how your daughter inherited a progressive hearing loss, spurring to life a sense of advocacy and a passion for accessibility.
Who shares your story and how it is portrayed matters. As an editor, I have experience shaping narratives through long-form videos for YouTube, shorter videos for social media, and written content for print/online. Through my writing, I storytell through published articles, newsletters, emails, social media content, scripts and marketing materials.
I believe in the power of language to transform and connect.

A powerful story can change lives. I know there are books, conversations and even movies that have been revolutionary in my reasoning.
I want to use my skills – namely storytelling via writing and editing – to be that shift in thinking for someone else. If being a small part in sharing someone’s story can bring joy, inspire, motivate or educate someone else, then I’ve done my duty.
